How to Enrol and Term Dates
How to Enrol

Our schools are welcoming to students from all cultures and backgrounds who seek to share in the life of their communities and who value what they have to offer – an education of the highest standard that is grounded in Catholic faith, in communities of care. Enrolling your child in a Catholic School in the Diocese of Cairns is a simple process and each school sets its own enrolment procedures.
Parents should contact the school in which they wish to enrol for particular details of enrolment policies. A directory of schools (pdf) in the diocese is available on this website.

Parents are urged to contact the school as early as possible to arrange an interview with the Principal. Documentation such as a birth certificate, baptism certificate and immunisation records may be required.
Some schools and secondary colleges may require school reports and other relevant academic records from the previous school. However, parents are urged to contact the school if they have any questions about the enrolment procedure.

Enrolments remain open at most Catholic primary and secondary schools, however some schools have reached their full capacity and have formed waiting lists. Parents considering a Catholic school for their children are invited to contact the school of interest to them as soon as possible to enquire about enrolment procedures.
